He held her eyes when she dared to meet them, but didn't pressure her. She needed to feel safe speaking of such things to him. Feel safe around him... trusting of him despite knowing and having experienced what he was capable of, and quite happily too. Yes. She needed to feel safe with letting him be privy to her secrets.
Sinister stepped closer, not attempting to touch her, but inside her bubble of comfort. And he leaned down slightly, letting his eyes search her face, the glow reduced to just around the irises that were usually hidden by the otherwise matching sclera. So she could tell what he was doing.
His smile widened a fraction of an inch, "She lied."
Then he was straightening and backing off, letting Rogue infer whatever comfort she may have wanted to gain from the comment as he turned away from her. He paused at the door, which slid open before him, "This was a productive first session. I will compile what insights I have gained from this and upon our next one, attempt to properly guide you as you are perhaps more familiar with from your sessions with Xavier. That will have to happen after you return from the space venture with S.H.I.E.L.D."
He didn't actually leave the room, instead a research assistant that had apparently been passing by, stopped and handed him a small stack of notes and papers which he shifted through for a moment before placing one on the top and handing them back. He nodded and murmured a short series of instructions before leaving the door and letting it slide closed once more. Sinister's smile did not waver as he returned his attention to her. "Do you have any questions for me before we conclude for the day?"
