Teddy did take the moment, but it didn't do him much good. Jetlag, stomach was still on a different continent, made things hard to digest. Wanda had told him Magneto did this sort of thing a lot when they had watched the newsreel together, it wasn't something to get too excited over. She told him a lot of things about Magneto, really, that the old man hadn't displayed when Teddy was on Genosha. It was weird, reconciling the three images he had of the man, but Teddy knew a lot about putting on different faces.
One he would keep on not understanding was Tommy's. "He wouldn't do that!" he blurted quite suddenly, eyes wide and imploring, needing to convince himself as well as anyone else. "Not after last time, he knows what Magneto's like, he probably-- there's obviously something else, if he's lying about Wanda like that!"
Billy would know better. He understood his pseudo-brother better. He could sort this out. "I mean, I know he's hard to talk to, but-- get Billy, have you talked to Billy? He'll be able to figure it out, Tommy's not as bad as he seems, I swear."
