Jubilee grinned at her friend, who, she noticed, was reading a textbook on chemical elements. "Heavy!" she exclaimed, pointing to Paige's book. "Maybe you oughta write this paper for me." The girl grinned again, and her hair flopped in her face. She pushed it back and sat up thoughtfully.
"Is it pretentious to write a paper on my own mutation?" Truthfully, Jubilee was attempting to avoid doing too much research. Her more bookish friends always found that amusing.
