Slightly dazed still, Spidey looked up when he heard a noise off in the distance. Police sirens? Well, it was about time. It seemed New York’s finest were there in the nick time for once. Which was just as well, Spidey was starting to feel a little loose headed and could actually use some help wrapping things here. As the police pulled over to the side of the road and stepped out, Peter waved them over innocently enough. That was when things went horribly awry.
“FREEZE! All Units, All Units. Report: We have located suspect SPIDER-MAN and are apprehending him at this time!”
Spidey for his part, jerked up when he heard the command. “Hey guys. Something wrong here? I’m the good guy here? Friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, remember?” The police weren’t listening to his plea, and when he went to take a step forward they fired on him. Gun fire erupted over the street as Spidey danced around dodging bullets meant for his head. What in the world was going on here?! He leaped around and then took off at a run, before jumping into the air and web slinging away.
Oh god. This just wasn’t his day. Not his day at all. Was it just him or was that a police chopper in the distance? What was he getting himself into?
