Sitting on a rooftop watching his prey, Venom chuckled to himself. Oh how he loved messing with Spider-Man's head. Confusion is the best way to play with the Spider. He looked up as he heard police sirens closing in on the locations where Spider-Man webbed the robbers to the wall. Venom couldn't wait to see what happens when they found the criminals suffocated by webbing. They'd obviously blame Spider-Man who just so happened to be laying on the ground below him, well he'd just have to help them find him.
Venom swung over to an alley near the closest criminal and dropped to the ground. Shifting the symbiote into street clothes, he walked just up to the police lines while they were taking the guy off the wall. He started shouting wildly, "I saw Spider-Man do it! He covered their faces to suffocate them!" This caught the attention of the Police.
"Did you see where he went?", a policeman questioned.
"He's right over there sir!" Brock pointed down the street where a couple blocks away Spider-Man was still picking himself up after the recent car ordeal. Four policemen rushed to their cars, two in each, and hurried down the road, sirens blaring, hoping to catch Spider-Man to bring him in for questioning.
Brock chuckled and walked back into the alley. A black blur leap into the air, unnoticed by onlookers. Venom swung through the air, eager to watch what happened when the Police caught up with the Spider. Obviously the right course of action would be to help the officers. Therefore, he must do what he can to ensure that the officers take Parker into custody. Even if they had to shoot him first...
