When she snapped his arrow in half a look of mortification briefly crossed his face. How could she?! His arro- Ow. He felt that. The sudden blow to the jaw sent the Hydra Agent spiraling into the wall with such a force that only a super human could muster. His back struck the alley way wall with a crack and then he fell to ground.
It took a second for his head to stop spinning. All clint could do was caution himself to keep moving. Hawkeye raised his head partially to spit out a handful of blood. She’d meant that knock. He could still feel it ringing in his teeth.
Without even checking he could tell his bow string was also snapped. It was more of a feeling. He was a master archer. He knew when his equipment wasn’t working any longer. Still, he could get another string. He couldn’t get another jaw, and this bitch wasn’t getting another hit on him like that.
He weighed his options for a moment. Bow was out. That took out a lot of his arsenal. He could still wing it with whatever. His aim was still as true with a gun or a rock then it was with an arrow. He just preferred the bow. He would just have to start throwing things. Bullseye style.
That was when he spotted his solution. Out of the corner of his eye he spotted one of the ends to the arrow she’d snapped in half. Ah, it was the pointed end. He did a small tuck and roll, then grasped the broken arrow in his arm. He flung it at her chest then with everything he had. Lucky for him the tip of his arrows carried the trick. The broken piece had been an exploding arrow, but it still worked even if broken in half. If it landed she should be in for a surprise.
