Heists didn't generally have a time. Occasionally, his clients new the targets well enough that they could guarantee a time it would be safe to go, but still, it had Remy suspicious from the start, and he'd done of bit of outside research beyond what they'd given him.
While he had no proof that there was anything wrong with the building, he was on the look out, and arrived before arranged time to check out the grounds. Still nothing to set off any alarms in his head, and so he waited for the proper time, running through the plan in his head.
He'd told Sinister he was doing a job, not to expect him back for a few hours, and he hoped that was enough to make sure he would come looking it something went wrong. He had his staff, and cards (and a mobile tesseract generator if things went really bad), he was set.
The break in went smoothly enough, alarms disabled, and he made his way through the mansion, eyes darting about, sure every shadow was watching him. He made it upstairs, and located the disk drive, again, pausing and looking about. This seemed too easy. The last time it had been this easy it was a police set up. Not that they'd been able to hold him, he recalled with a smirk.
Confidence pumping he grabbed the disk drive.
Electricity crackled, and he was thrown back, blinking with a surprised and pained expression on the floor, muscles twitching and throbbing.
