Susan opened her mouth to explain why this rule didn't apply to her, but he was already playing the song, fingers dancing along the keys and she was stuck. She swallowed, blue eyes glancing around to make sure no one was within direct earshot of the horrible sound that was bound to come from her lips. There was no one and most were still watching fireworks or too drunk to notice Susan about to belt out the worse rendition of Silent Night ever.
"Silent night, holy night..." And she continued, her voice evening out as she went along and cheeks burning.
