Rogue gasped as his hand wrapped around her pale throat, eyes widening slightly as he pulled her close, and she scrunched her nose at the stench of his rancid breath in her face. His eyes were wild and feral; there was no humanity in them...the animal had slaughtered that part of him long ago. Her gloved hand pulled and twisted around his wrist, moving to yank his grip free from her throat, but before she could manage it her body was airborn and she was flying uncontrollably through the wall.
There was a sickening crack as her body collided with the plaster and she collapsed to the ground in a heap, brown hair over her shoulders. Her whole body ached; super strength did not stop injuries.
