The moment the first explosion went off Cassie was climbing over the back of the booth and into the next one and by the time the one in the diner exploded she was a few feet back from the window. The force of it tossed her against a stool at the counter and she lay on the floor for a moment, dazed, before she was pulled off her street clothes, her Stature costume underneath, and donning the mask she always kept on hand.
Someone was blowing up her diner? Oh hell no. On her feet and staggering through the smoke and bodies of those rushing for the door Cassie finally gave up and hopped out of one of the blown out windows, searching for the cause of the explosions. She couldn't be sure how everyone had fared in the diner until the smoke cleared but on the street it looked like no one was seriously injured. They were all just really freaked out. Honestly, things like this happened every day, it really shouldn't have been such a surprise now. Cassie rose above the crowd who seemed to become even more upset at the sight of her, and looked around for someone who didn't look panicked. Her guess was that would be the culprit.
