Take me back to the place we knew before. Characters: Spider-Man, OT anyone Setting: New York City, dusk Content: Patrol! Summary: Spidey goes looking for trouble
Peter stood at the edge of the world and looked down into the city of lights below. At his side, one of the building's gargoyles watched him. Peter Parker smiled as he looked the stone beast over, then gently placed his mask over his face and became Spider-Man. He liked it here. Pete often found this spot before he went to work. It was a nice quiet place to sit and think. He was too far up for anyone to notice him, had plenty of view to look down on the city below. "Well, George." Spidey began by addressing the stone gargoyle as if it were alive. "Time to clock in for another night. We'll just see who wants to shoot at me tonight. Take care. Same time tomorrow?" With that said, the hero leaped off the building and swung low off a web line.
He moved across the city, swinging from building to building, and generally just looking for trouble. The old Web Head had a gift for that. Maybe it was just the spider get up, but people just seemed to love shooting things at him lately. Even the good guys. Spider-Man still hadn't forgotten his Spider Sense going off around Iron Man. Guaranteed he wouldn't be calling Stark for another team up. Pretentious prick.
As Spider-Man passed over Time Square, he noticed a mugging. "First crime of the day." Spidey said as he leaped down to drop kick the perp. The mugger fell over on the sidewalk from the blow then Spidey webbed him up. "Well, looks like you get to go to Jail. Directly to Jail." He said looking the crook over, then noticed a cop on his way over. "Do not pass go, do not collect two hundred dollars." Spidey tossed the stolen purse back to the damsel, an old lady. Then continued on his merry way. Child's play really, when compared to Hydra, or even The Hulk, but necessary all the same. People always needed his help, and he would always be there to give it. He moved further into the city looking for more trouble.
