What a very strange role reversal, Wanda thought as she stared back at him uncertainly, as if he were wise and she was just a child. Did she want to know? She wasn't sure. She'd already given so much for these children, did she need to add more pain? It seemed important to Tommy to tell her so she supposed she had to listen. Wanda attempted to console herself in the thought that it wasn't really her he was talking about, this wasn't some horrifying predication of the future. It was just a shadow of a possibility. Just like these children, Billy and Tommy, were just possibilities. Possibilities that had taken on tangible form and filled her with a vague horror that perhaps she wouldn't escape the destiny wrought by her other-universe counterpart. So, did she really want to know? No. But she nodded in acquiescence and allowed Tommy to tell her.
