Outside of the hospital, another visitor appeared. Spider-Man swung off a web line and landed against the side of the building. Spidey had heard from Shield agents about Stature and the other Young Avenger going down in the fight against Hulk, so he'd come to pay his respects and make sure his size changing friend was ok.
Spidey began briskly scaling the side of the building and peered in each window he passed. He was looking for the emergancy room where she was staying in. It had taken some pleading, but he'd gotten that information off of Shield too. Seems the agency was keeping a close watch on super heroes, after the Hulk and Zombie incidents. Not that he blamed them for the interest. After running into that Cat dressed girl and the mutant blond psycho, he couldn't say he trusted his own costumed kind much either.
The whole thing made the Web Head sick to his stomach. If it wasn't for Spider-Man, Stature wouldn't have been hurt or worse. Spidey was the one that had talked the girl into joining the fight in the first place. Yet another person, Peter let down. After looking inside a window and luckily finding Stature laid out in a bed, he briskly knocked on the glass window to be let in.
The nurse attending the patients turned and peered at him quizzically. Slowly she turned and let him in with a smile. Thanks to the Bugle and the word of mouth from people, Spider-Man was fairly famous in New York. People passed on stories of him rescuing them from insane predicaments, and at those rare moments, people returned his kindness. He never expected help from anyone, but was always thankful when he got it. That was the kind of boy May raised. Spider-Man turned to the Nurse and murmured his thanks. He walked over to Stature's bed and frowned sadly beneath his mask. This was all his doing, but thankfully she was alive. "Hey."
