"Don't mind if I do." He replied jokingly as he eyed the Hulk from a distance. Hmm, how best to go about this. If it was The Rhino, he'd just let him charge into a wall and then pound on him. But, the Hulk was different, If the Hulk charged into things, it usually meant the end of whatever he charged at. Not a good option considering they were in Manhattan.
So instead, difficult or not Spidey needed to keep the Hulk away from hurting more people, but how to do that? Perhaps he could trick the beast into the ocean? The Hudson bay wasn't too far away and The Hulk had to breathe right? He just had to get him over there. Well, it was worth a shot. "Maybe if we can get him in the Hudson and away from all these people. I'll try something."
Spider-Man flipped off his thread of webbing and landed on the ground. "Here goes nothing." He then fired two web lines, one from both hand. One line he stuck to a building on one side of the street, and the other on another building on the other side. While holding on to both lines of webbing, Spider-Man began walking backwards and stretched the webbing tight. He'd used this trick once or twice before. Hopefully he could build up enough momentum by backing up and releasing his stretched webbing. That should send him flying at Hulk, and hopefully sending him off towards the sea. Nice plan, now let's see how Hulkie could ruin it.
Apparently, The Hulk was at the moment still upset enough at Spider-woman that he didn't immediately pay any mind to the similar themed Spider-Man. He watched the monster continue throwing things at her and went to work. After backing up as far as his webbing would allow, he released himself at the monster, flying at him like a rocket- feet fist.
