What a foolish, foolish child. The moment he'd found Lorna had gone- to where the Hulk was of all ridiculous places- Magnus enlisted the services of one of the islands other teleporters and arrived in the midst of the hellish landscape of Hulk-ravaged Manhattan. He was in full regalia, cape and helmet and all, and he trotted down the streets ignoring the screams of pedestrians who only screamed louder at the sight of him.
For a moment he smiled to himself and hoped that a camera somewhere caught him. Give them a little something else to worry about. Perhaps he'd get some kind of credit for this. Granted, he wanted to change his old methods, but the area he currently wandered flicking metal debris out of his way with wiggles of his fingertips was apparently evacuated. He heard the sound of a helicopter above and when he glanced up he saw it was a News chopper. Perfect. He raised his arms above his head- entirely unnecessary for what he planned but nicely dramatic- and brought down the building nearest to him. Yes, he hoped they got that on their footage.
He then turned his concentration to pushing his powers out to "feel" for Lorna and it was not long before he found her, a bright chaotic pulse of electromagnetic energy. He rounded a corner and felt her growing near and- of course- she had to be near the Hulk. Well, this meant a hasty retreat once he had her and when he found her he picked her up very carefully and then rose up into the air with his daughter in his arms and an energy field to protect them from the bullets of the snipers on the roofs who now had their guns trained on him. He would rendezvous with his transport a few blocks over and then, in a flash, he and Lorna were gone, returned to Genosha.
