As it turned out, Genosha was very accommodating to its citizens. As she wandered looking lost a helpful citizen approached her and asked to see the paperwork she'd been issued which had the address of the apartment she'd been assigned to stay at. All Genoshan's living expenses were provided for and it was generally assumed that they would in turn put their abilities to good use for the betterment of the society. The good Samaritan explained all this to her as he showed her to her place, lamenting at the woeful ineptitude that seemed inherent in all customs offices the world over- even Genosha's- and left her with his name and phone number in case she ever needed help with anything else.
In his study in the manor Magnus was staring at his computer screen as ever a little box in the corner scrolled by the names and personal information of new arrivals. One in particular caught his eye; a Lorna Dane. Ah, he'd read about her in the other universe. His second daughter. He supposed it was possible that she was his in this universe as well. There'd been other women after Magda, though none who meant anything to him. And this girl apparently shared his mutant ability. Well obviously the best plan of action was to pay her a visit. He looked up the address of the flat they'd put her in and set out to find her. Within the hour he was knocking on her door with a pleasant smile on his face.
