The silence stretched on, awkwardly, and Cassie picked up a fork and tapped it idly as she watched his armor moving on his own. It was fascinating, if not a little creepy. She took another sip of water then decided to break the quiet.
"It's a little hard working without a team," she remarked, "I'm not really used to it. I mean it's one thing to like, save people from burning buildings or stop muggers, but...Stilt-Man was kind of annoying to deal with alone. Before you showed up I mean. Thanks, Un- er, Ton-, Iron Man."
A waitress finally came up, all smiles and flirtatiousness that almost dropped at the sight of Tony's bruised face but she nonetheless asked what they wanted to drink. Cassie ordered a coke and, since she'd already scanned the menu quickly, a turkey sandwich.
