He made no effort to sit up and quickly chose to close his eyes again, rubbing at his throbbing head. What a day.
"I'm not here to kill anyone, you snarling savage," he snapped, slowly attempting to drag himself to sit up. Doing so made him a bit nauseous, but he was not just going to lay there, belly up before the feral. "Just to get information. And I hope you know it would be far more effective a lesson if you did not attempt to give your subjects brain damage in the middle of it. I'm lucky I remember how to talk."
