Telford was scanning a document, only half paying attention to what it actually said, he mostly focusing on his own thoughts. If he did a good job here, then he might not only get revenge, but a special something from... well best not to think about that here. Could get one into trouble. He pushed those thoughts aside as he flipped to the next page, completely unaware of the presence at the window. He heaved another sigh and scanned for any key words before the weight of the world, or at least what felt like the weight of the world, dropped on top of him.
His teeth gritted, eyes going wide as papers scattered through the room, the fall to the ground knocking the wind clean out of him. His first instinct was, of course, to teleport, but between the sharp blade at his throat and the crushing weight on his back, he found it impossible. His mind raced as panic swept through him, he scrambling for something, anything, to do.
"Shit!" He half wheezed out, eyes closing tightly in an attempt to collect himself. This was quite suddenly not going well at all. "I--I just--Teleported and ended up--here!" A lie, and an obvious one to any who had been spying in the window. The documents fluttering slowly to the ground did not do anything to help his story.
