It has been days since they had talked to Cassie, but it had also been days since they had anywhere to be or anything to do, so Teddy was sluggish and moony and not particularly spurned by Billy's anxiety. He just let himself be dragged, skipping every few steps to keep from tripping over his feet, slowly looking more annoyed with this process until he saw Cassie waiting in the diner window. Wiggling out of Billy's hold and shrugging in his sweater until his sleeves covered his hands to press up against the glass. He scrunched his face until he had a pig's snout to just touch to the grimy surface of the window where Cassie sat then quickly backed away to wipe at his nose frantically with his covered fists. Someone had probably licked that window. And immediately keeled over dead and got their dead air on it.
