Nick snorted and watched Tony with a quizzical expression. "Seems they don't," he finally answered in that same indifferent tone of voice. "Seems their world's pretty fucked up. The Kaplan kid came here looking for Wanda in the first place because his Wanda went crazy. Apparently their Cap is dead. And this little girl seems to have had it rough. She-" Nick paused then, head tilted, as the subject being discussed in the interrogation room caught his interest.
"-he was killed," Cassie was saying and the agent then asked who killed her father. Nick joined Tony beside the glass and leaned against it, watching and intent. Cassie took a long time before she answered, "The Scarlet Witch." Nick's eyebrows shot up. And he thought this Wanda was fucked up. She didn't hold a candle to theirs. Killing her teammates, depowering mutants and then just disappearing.
In truth, the kids were useful, if the things they said were true. If this reality was similar than theirs could serve as a warning of the things not to do and as an example of what individuals in this world were capable of. Like Wanda. Fury thought of the helicarrier incident and realized that Wanda was probably capable of far more. Especially if these kids weren't lying. "Damn," he muttered and shook his head.
