Cassie hopped down onto the first landing of the fire escape and leaned back against the old railing, arms crossed as she stared at Tony. Part of her had expected this- he was her Uncle Tony after all, he wouldn't let her live like this. But the part of her that said no he isn't was also reminded her of how he'd handled the boys. He was apparently not kind to them at all though, she reasoned, they did attack him. Regardless, as much as she wanted to trust him she didn't want to fall into the same trap that Billy and Tommy had apparently fallen into with Magneto. Although she would argue that the Tony Stark in their universe was not nearly as bad as Magneto. Even if the boys might not agree. It was all subjective, anyway. Her conflict was evident in her face when she finally spoke, "Look, talking to you right now has pretty much been the best thing that's happened to me since I got to this world. But I don't know who to trust and if I have to rely on anyone, I want to rely on me, you know?" She glanced away for a moment but then smiled, "I really want to trust you though."
