Her line of thinking obviously followed his for she broke into a grin despite her apprehension and nodded, "Oh yeah, I know, Wasp is- was...Janet was amazing." Her smile faltered a little and she went to shove her hands in her pockets then realized she no longer had any pockets since her hoodie was shredded somewhere on the pavement so instead she put her hands on her hips and stared at the ground. She would have expected interrogation or questions or, well, anything but this chatting. Finally she glanced up at him with her eyebrows raised and her lips pursed in a skeptical expression.
"So, uhm, Unc- er, M-Mr. Stark. I guess you know who I am and that I'm ah-" she paused and chose her next words carefully, "Not exactly from around here." Her thoughts were jumbled and buzzing and she wondered how this encounter might end. Apparently Iron Man hadn't been too keen on her friends, yet she also suspected they'd been stupid enough to fight. If Iron Man wanted to lock her up, she wasn't going to fight. Perhaps the Avengers here would see she was no danger. Maybe saving that guy's life helped her image a little. She offered Tony another small uncertain smile.
