Like Quicksilver MKII had just slammed him with three quick punches before Iron Man could even react, Tony was left reeling with the succession of strange comments. Couldn't they let up with the alternate-dimension act until they were in the interrogation room? It was irritatingly distracting. Did the little prick just admit to working for Magneto? What the hell was he saying about War Machine? Cape killer? The words made Tony shiver, and he couldn't even begin to understand where they had come from.
He didn't have much time to try to work it out, though; in seconds, his armor was warning him of energy patterns it was having difficulty absorbing, and recommending he expend some before there was a critical overload-- then he was thrashing a touch belatedly at Quicksilver's save, not appreciating being dragged around by unexpected forces. "Can you save the questioning for after you've arrested him?" Iron Man snapped, made irritable by this whole ridiculous situation. Maybe he would thank Pietro for the rescue later when he wasn't being put off by his faux-nephew's smug face.
