Eventually Wanda drifted away from the man with the beach house and found herself in a little group of men and women discussing New Orleans. She caught snippets of their conversation.
"-Avengers are a nuisance."
"I hardly think the government has any right-"
"All the business lost there-"
"Apparently it wasn't actually a virus at all, but a mutant-"
The last bit of conversation she overheard had Wanda paying close attention. That wasn't something she'd heard before. She sidled over to the man who said it and found him to be a blustering middle aged drunk who seemed to like to hear himself talk. He also liked to be fawned over by pretty girls so Wanda did quite a bit of fawning and got him talking to her alone in an alcove. It took some coaxing but he let slip a name: Williams. It was a common name and wasn't perhaps useful at all, but it was something. When the stranger started to get handsy Wanda departed from seclusion with him and began a search for any of the other Avengers.
