Lorna felt someone sit down next to her. It registered in the back of her mind and a frown of annoyance wrinkled her brow for a moment. There were enough empty seats after all, why did this person have to sit right next to her? Then it was gone, replaced by the thought that maybe whoever it was was nervous and wanted to be close to another person. And Lorna was one of the more normal looking of those on the flight.
So when Jean spoke, it took the green-haired girl by surprise. She turned quickly. Shock and confusion painting her features as she blinked. And kept blinking, head turning to look about the cabin and then back at Jean several times.
When her heart finally slowed enought to think properly she gaped at her friend and hissed in a loud whisper, "What are you doing here?! As soon as we land you are turning around and getting on the next flight back to New York!"
