The last time Tony had made himself physically imposing, the gal he was trying to stick up for had to save him from himself, prove she really didn't need his help in the first place, and get the other guy back for breaking Tony's nose. Not that he didn't know how to command a room, but he didn't often do 'threatening' outside of the suit--Iron Man struck fear into the hearts of his enemies, Tony just hung out with the guy. Typically, he had more options at his disposal. But this was a live animal under attack.
"Hey, are you kidding me with this?" Tony snapped as he started across the room, leaving the startled salesperson behind. They hadn't seen through the window that Tony brushed past them to knock against insistently to the man outside, trying to get his attention away from the cripplingly short leash he was lashing his dog to a damn gasline with. The dog was muzzled and snarling, clearly too anxious to be around people at all and this guy's solution was to straighjacket it to an explosive? He looked bewildered up at the knocking, like he couldn't imagine anyone would take umbrage with this behaviour. He mirrored Tony's questioningly spread hands back at him, sarcastically, then started for the door. "Oh, he's going to come in here now, he needed to do that to stop in and buy a car. Great. Hey, big guy, got a big day planned? Going for a test spin?"
