God, it didn't even sound convincing coming from him, and only a few short years ago she would have rather been at the mercy of a burning stake than even sharing the same space with Stark. Even as far as she'd come in accepting him, their current state of normal wouldn't actually be enough. Usually, Wanda simply tolerated Tony, which she achieved through avoidance and occasional polite small talk. This wasn't going to be as straight forward as Tony tried to make it seem.
"We're not even friends," Wanda pointed out. "So what's our 'married' normal? Resentment, suspicion, bitterness, only now we start making out a little too?" she scoffed. Well, no one said it had to be a happy marriage.
