She didn't have to wait for Sitwell to take the chance to express his preference, glad to take that dress away from her as soon as she turned and hand her the white one instead, less concerned about their track choice and more about immediate impressions. His parents wouldn't remember any music he talked about, they were older and didn't really have a reference point to invest themselves in the story. The mutant question was a good one, though, and Sitwell grimaced, not sure what the best answer was. If this was going to be a long-term arrangement, they might not be able to avoid it forever and it wasn't as though they had to lie about everything. Sitwell didn't like lying to his parents at all, it would be nice if they could stick to the facts they had. "Maybe it doesn't come up naturally," he suggested. To get ahead of it, he continued, "They don't have a lot of insights about tattoos or...piercings, either," stumbling slightly over the word and gesturing vaguely because he didn't want to get specific in any way, but her file had a lot of 'defining markings' listed.
