Seeing Daimon's demonic powers in action was as impressive as it was terrifying, but Wanda couldn't spare much attention for his magic fire and trident-wielding. The monsters had grown wild at the destruction of their brothers. As Wanda moved to close the gap between she and Daimon, the last of the beasts on the street charged at them, abandoning their hunt of the fleeing crowds to go up against the threat posed by what should have been a snack. Wanda used one hand to blast one of the beasts backwards into a shop front, while energy around the other lifted one of the creatures high into the air and then smashed it down into the asphalt hard enough to leave a crater where it lay, unmoving. The remaining three were undaunted, as one came at Daimon from the left and the other two launched themselves at the space between Wanda and Daimon to separate their enemies and pick them off individually.
With her attention on the gap, Wanda was unprepared when a rhino coming up the middle of the street broke away at the last moment to slam against her left side. Stumbling out of the way just in time was the only thing that saved her from being gored, and Wanda felt searing pain and a surge hot blood along her ribcage where the monster's spikes sliced against her skin. Reeling, she gritted her teeth and tried to ignore the wound while she focused on taking out the beast that injured her. There wasn't time to worry about or assess the damage when she was more concerned with not being immediately killed by the monster that had turned around and was charging at her again. As Wanda blasted it into oblivion, the other two flanked Daimon, circling and darting close to thrust their horns at him.
