"Right." Of course actual superheroes would be at a superhero event, and as luck would have it, the one following her was one she'd fought before. Iron Fist. Jessica could keep a secret. She only hoped that he wouldn't pick up on who she was. Yes, what a smart idea it was coming here. Real brilliant. Jessica zapped the bee above him and scowled. "Then help." There were people still taking shelter behind anything they could get to, the doorways were clogged, and the windows still open. Her gaze flitted over him before she turned away again to get to the windows first, trying not to worry about her identity so much as the continuing panic.
She weaved through it, closer to the windows still flooding with bees until someone bumped into her shoulder and caused the socialite who'd done it to stagger back, glaring with fear and frustration. The woman hissed and tried to shove Jessica out of her way, missing as Jessica sidestepped her. Another fleeing civilian ran into her like a pin ball, and this time she almost missed a step, recovering just fast enough to get out of the way of the stampede, but not fast enough to catch a piercing stinger to the side of her neck. "Bloody-" Jessica felt around the area and yanked the bee still stuck to the stinger lodged in her neck before spinning around toward the windows and glaring, and shooting off a wide net of venom to catch these increasingly irksome pests.
