Okay, so that was an expedient way to travel, but it was definitely still weird and a little embarrassing. Those were Danny's impressions after their short "flight" and his unceremonious disembarkment. He still thanked his surly transportation anyway, because she'd still got them to Lee that much faster. While she was breaking and entering, Danny pulled his phone from his pocket and dialed Colleen. He should've done it sooner, more backup would be helpful and she would want to know. Slipping past the photographer into the dark entry, Danny froze as three ninjas immediately peeled away from the shadows. Two came down the long hallway, and another from Wing's study to the left. The first two launched themselves towards the woman in the doorway, the third came at Danny.
"Colleen, Ninjas," he muttered into his phone and fought back his assailant one-handed. That was as much as he got to explain; a creak from above was all that alerted him to the assassin that leaped the banister upstairs to land on him. Danny hit the floor with a painful oof, his phone skidding out of his hand. He wrestled with the guy on the floor, rolled to his feet, and took a page out of his irritable ally's book and threw the guy who'd landed on him at his other attacker. As they tumbled into a table in the hallway, a ceramic vase wobbled precariously and Danny, wide-eyed, dove forward to catch it as it fell. "That's Ming," he snapped and lashed out at the tangled pair of assassins with a scissor kick.
