This just kept getting weirder. He was going to ask if she was alright when she got sick, but before he could she was up again displaying that sunny and charming personality that must have really made her a hit at parties. "Wow, you're prickly," he remarked dryly and raised his eyebrows. This was getting frustrating, but it took more than a bad attitude to shake him. He was still willing to try reasoning with her. "You know what, usually I wouldn't care, but you happen to start showing up when I'm here trying to protect someone, and that's pretty suspect.
