While most of the Avengers spent the afternoon contending with crowds and children Hawkeye stood apart. Yes, he was here. Making an appearance for the city and all that. Clint still wasn't sure how Tony had got them all to agree to this. But expecting much more then a few handshakes and a thumbs up at kids was clearly asking too much from him. Even for Steve. Clint wasn't a people person. He didn't have a filter. Barton didn't expect people to listen to his problems and he certainly didn't have patience for other peoples. Let the walking flag pole and chrome job handle the questions.
Anyway Clint was on a bench up hill from the chaos drinking from a bottle hidden inside a wrapped paper bag. For now he was playing the waiting game. It was tough going trying to decide just when to sweep down for a hot dog at just the right moment. It was critical timing to make it there and back before the children recognized him. He'd skipped breakfast that day and could feel his stomach ready to growl again. Barton honestly didn't like his odds.
