If this actually were a film, Danny figured that Colleen's last kill would've been shot in impressive slow motion, it looked that cool. He was a sucker for a good action scene, but he only had a few seconds to appreciate it (and make sure she was okay), before he had to turn his focus to punching and kicking at spindly furry scorpider legs. When it keeled over, S.H.I.E.L.D. finished it off and Iron Fist went to Colleen to take a look at her leg. He shook his head at the bloody state of her skin and the shredded leg of her jeans and murmured, "Doesn't look too good, Little Bird."
Agents were swarming back in around them, and he didn't want to be in anyone's way, so Iron Fist lifted Colleen into his arms and carried her over to the sidewalk again. They sat down on the curb and he put her leg into his lap to heal it, glancing up now and then to watch as S.H.I.E.L.D. lab teams broke down the monsters to take them to labs. Soon the street was empty but for corrosive viscera and a lot of potholes. The city was taking a real beating lately.
