Kitty's entire face lit up. "Really? Wow! I, yeah! I would love that." She grinned, idly fumbled with some weird metal cylinder device. "Tinkering makes me happy. Um. I dunno, I kinda had a meltdown recently. At the time it felt like this was all I had, building things and fixing them, and when I couldn't I freaked out. There was obviously a much deeper issue there. Uh. Total existential crisis," she chuckled wryly, kept her eyes fixed on the thing in her hand, smile fading, eyes furrowed. And then Kitty laughed again, shook her head and looked up at him apologetically. Why was she telling him this? Way to be a total downer, Pryde.
"I didn't mean to take it there. I'm fine now. Work's good, got my groove back. I'm building a school." Kitty was beaming again. That probably wasn't what Jasper meant when he suggested Kitty take up a hobby, but it was keeping her focused and afloat anyway.
