The last agent to glance their way earned a cheeky salute from Jessica. She knew better than to expect any different of Nick's approach, that ass, but she had to believe that he cared. Obviously they wouldn't be bonding over sympathy for Wanda, but she had Tony in her corner, but more importantly, with her in Wanda's, which had become a very frightening spot to be in by herself. Jessica had no idea how to cope with this beyond crying out her fear and frustration, and she'd done so much of that tonight already that she was inclined to answer any question that Tony had for her, to distant her mind from the poignant grief still building up in her chest. Jessica took a breath and briefly surveyed the room. "Those are the animal carcasses I found here earlier that Wanda had no recollection of. The rest of that is vomit." She rounded her gaze back to Tony, feeling nauseated. The taste of the demon's regurgitation still lingered in her mouth, and as far sas she knew, those pets were the only other victims. "Can we get out of this room?" Hand pressed against the middle of his back, she urged him out the door with her, and took him to her bedroom where they could breathe better air at least. Jessica pulled away from him to grab a bag and throw some clothes in it.
"Thank you for coming," she murmured, shutting the closet door, casting him a sidelong glance before she walked to her bed. "I didn't know she was possessed until tonight. We knew there was a chance that it could happen after we found out she'd lost her soul...that was so long ago, and things weren't right then, but we didn't--Then weeks ago she'd started locking herself up in her room, messing around with dark magic. Being soulless changed her, left her...empty is one way to put it. And then she summons her old boyfriend and he says her soul could be in Hell, that someone could already have it, but he'd find it, and she told me everything was going to be fine. Only it got worse than before, and I should've known this would happen with how fucked up it all was from the very beginning." Her voice cracked from straining, tears welling at the corner of her eyes. Jessica quickly wiped them away, and stuffed more things into her bag. "You saw what that monster could do. It said the most horrible things and tortured her while I stood there, with no way to help her without hurting her too."
