It seemed as though Nick's arrival had saved them from trying to muddle through what clearly neither of them were educated on, but it turned out having just Jessica in the room with was much more reassuring to Tony than Wanda in cuffs and one bad twitch away from being disintegrated. Iron Man almost stood to get out of Nick's way, only to fall forward on his knees again at the array of weaponry, hands out to encourage the army to stand down, "Hey, woah..." and wave Jessica back out of the room before they decided the whole place was a threat. "You can take her out with 50,000 volts, no need for the heavy weaponry. Come on, what is this?" Alright, it looked bad, but she had mostly only hurt herself. What was hurting her more going to do for them? Other than that piece of advice, Tony couldn't claim to know much about what was going on, other than it was definitely magic and he hated it. Voltage was the limit of his jurisdiction. He turned back Jess' way for some back up, keeping a hand on Wanda's thigh like he could sense from there when one of these clowns got too close. "You're staying with me, right?" he offered right there, in case that swayed her opinion in his favour.
