"You and me both." Jessica had, begrudgingly, gone to the clinic like he'd told her to. A respite from this utter nightmare was probably the most helpful she'd been tonight, making orders was completely laughable. All the stitches and the bandaging couldn't relieve her beaten mind, or ease her trembling...soul. Word of the bloody day. At least while she was away, she could somewhat function. Coming back to the building was harrowing, and she nearly hesitated to walk in, breathing uneasily before she realized she was still on the phone with Tony. Was it completely unreasonable to keep him on the phone? She didn't hang up until she was in the room with him--or, at least partially, Jessica couldn't bring herself to re-immerse herself in the horror. Rotting gore, blood bleeding down the walls...the room reeked of evil. She guessed they were going to have to move now.
One look at Wanda, however, compelled her forward, face twisted in a sad grimace. She knelt unsteadily behind Tony, eyes still fixed on their friend. "No hospital, I really said that?" She'd only repeated what Wanda told her, but now it didn't seem right. They simply couldn't leave her like that. "Who's on their way?" she asked quietly, again as if she was afraid speaking too loud might wake up the monster. "We should immobilize her, right? While we wait?" Jessica noted the fresh wounds the demon afflicted on her. How'd they do it in the movies? Tie her up? Uncertain, but determined, she stood up and looked around. There had to be something. Best case scenario, help arrived with a much better solution.
