Anger was easy, that's what usually got her through the day, but fear was hard. Cassie didn't want to show how afraid she was for her dad, how much it really bothered her, and so she shrugged and only looked up briefly before her gaze was resolutely fixed on the floor again. "Um, no. I wanted to ask you if you've heard from my Dad," she tried to sound casual, but her voice hitched a little on the last word and she didn't realize she was wringing her hands. Cassie knew there was a chance he hadn't made it to the Sphere, but the place so so big. She couldn't give up hope that maybe he was here, somewhere, trying to find her too.
"He hasn't been around since the evacuation and mom won't tell me anything. I was kinda hoping maybe he'd contacted the Avengers?" Sure, he hadn't been with the team in a few years, but she knew he'd kept in touch back on Earth and taken Cassie for a visit to various Avengers every couple months. If anyone on the Sphere could find him, it was Tony.
