That was flattering, and Tony wasn't going to let an opportunity to be flattered go by. He straightened up to attention, as much attention as it took to completely ignore any of Cassie's reasons for being a psycho stalker so he could concoct his own, like how completely irresistible he was. The Iron Man hardly moved, but he was clearly basking, until it occurred to him to wonder about all of this dedicated subterfuge from either side. "Are you in some kind of trouble?" he wondered. At least it wasn't urgent, clearly. If it was, Cassie would have found a way to get a working connection. Dropping his voice to whisper again, he continued, "Are you getting me he trouble right now?" like Cassie's mom might be just around the corner and all full of spit and vinegar, ready to wave her finger at him menacingly. "Because I've witnessed your mother's outrage and, I have to say, not an experience I want directed at me. This thing can only take so much," he said, giving a ringing knock of his knuckles against his armored stomach. Cassie's attitude could already blister the paint, Tony didn't need a family affair.
