"Okay that's--you didn't have to take it there, hotshot." Chuckling, Colleen might have thrown something at him if she had the ammo. Her laughter faded as Danny spoke again, and she could tell by his shifting demeanor that something was on his mind. And like the smile he'd come in with, it wasn't the first time she'd noticed. "No surprise there," she smiled. "Good. That you and Misty didn't end up here. I feel like I'm taking up space at this point." After finishing her last bite, Colleen set the bowl back on the tray and watched Danny quietly. "How are you?" she asked. A little payback. But she knew that the way things happened couldn't have been easy for him to deal with, she saw it in his face. The way he looked at her, or didn't look at her. She didn't want to talk about it, and maybe she'd never want to, but they needed to, and when was a good time? Danny didn't have to say anything if he didn't want to, but she was opening that communication, to let him know that it was there.
