Danny grinned to himself and jogged after her with only a sparing glance back at the crumbled alien on the ground. He'd never been particularly keen on that guy. As they crossed the threshold he reached out to try and catch her arm, get her to look at him. "What were you saying before?" Of course Danny couldn't just drop it. Right time, wrong time, end of time, whatever. She'd brought it up, and if they did die, he'd rather die knowing what she had to say. The timetable, he figured, could wait just another minute.
