Unaware of what was going on behind him, Danny had his focus on the oncoming swarm of guards. When they were close enough (and he figured there was enough time for the last of the prisoners to get through the gate), Danny turned away from them to put his fist through a nearby wall. The building exploded with the force of all the pent up energy he'd hit it with, and he and the guards all went flying back with the concussive blast. Shrapnel rained down from above as the ground buckled below and dark smoke choked the air.
Rolling to his feet, Danny ran for the gate while the guards were held up by the chaos and destruction behind. Skidding to a halt at the sight of Misty's throttling, Danny raised his eyebrows. He didn't think there wasn't much Misty could handle, even over dramatic aliens. "We're on a timetable," he deadpanned as the monster finished up his monologue. "You got this?" Of course he'd intervene if she really needed him to, but he wasn't going to get all chivalrous when Misty could kick the guy's ass all on her own.
