"Having the same problem," he admitted from his place against a wall. Being here made Danny glad he'd shaved and got a haircut, though with his skinny jeans and suit-jacket-over-tee-shirt ensemble, the jury was still out on whether or not he fit in among the hipsters. He wasn't all that interested in finding out, though he was more than happy to chat with anyone who approached him (which was mostly girls that seemed to be at least ten years his junior). This was kind of a dangerous party to navigate.
One of those dangers was chatting up Misty at the moment but no, he wasn't going to be the jealous type. Or he was going to try not to be, anyway, since Danny had no claim to Misty and so there was nothing to be jealous of. Colleen confirmed this (though with different motivation) and Danny smiled at her, amused that she'd given the answer to a question he hadn't needed to ask. Side effect of so recently being in each other's heads. "My bet's on Misty. He's scary, but she's stubborn."
Noting her unconscious primping with raised brows, he turned and follow her gaze to the Jasper. Danny was going to reserve judgment for Colleen's sake, but mostly because the guy seemed alright in her head. More than alright, but he was pretty sure that had to do a little more with Colleen's opinion than reality. "Yes, dear," he joked but let her pull him forward with a knowing smirk on his face. Danny reached down and wiped a smear of lip gloss from the corner of her mouth with his thumb, then pushed a stray strand of hair behind her ear. In an 'after you' gesture he stepped away and let her lead him to her friend.
