It might not have been good for the food, but kicking over the table had done wonders for Daisy's frustration. She went still again, just glaring at Alex while she chewed her noodles, sure she didn't need to give him an answer to that. Alex should have been more concerned with what he could handle. He knew full well what Daisy could do to the city, and they both knew he could be sent to hell. It wasn't as though she was the one that needed him. She didn't need anybody.
"This mission is pointless. Let him see what we can do and he'll piss himself like the rest of them. He doesn't fucking matter anymore," she pointed out. Fury might have seemed godlike to a bunch of lost kids, but they both should have known very well how far from it he was. Alex liked his stupid games too much.
