"Incredible!" Jasper replied before realizing that was somewhat boastful with Cap on bedrest, and let his grin die quickly with an apologetic cough. The good health was undoubtedly thanks to Cap, though, so Jasper didn't fight the smile for long, just kept it reasonably tempered as he dug into his bag and thanked Cap for asking. "I don't know who they are letting see you, so..." he excused as he pulled out the sweater and a newspaper, which, now that he was feeling the heft of it, felt outdated and foolish, but maybe Cap would still appreciate it. Jasper didn't know enough about his routine, he'd never had the honour of being Cap's handler, maybe he was one of those proud few who kept print news in business. "If you need anything else, you could make a list, it would be my pleasure," Jasper welcomed, if only to make up for the newspaper assumption.
