When Tony sucked his cheeks in then, it was to bite back his grin, eyebrows jumping again with surprise. Before he teased Steve for that, though, he lifted his chin slightly, encouraging his attention for the brief second Tony could make himself be sweet, then pointed out, "Aren't I here enough?" Saving Steve the trouble, Tony leaned back in his seat, gathering up the bag leaving a greasy stain in his lap, and nodded with understanding. "That's okay, if my commitment isn't enough for you I can bounce. I've got a date with Happy, anyway, and I'm sure he can break this weird, restrictive new diet he's on for a couple of burgers." The heavy chair screeshed across the tile as he pushed it back to stand, making a move like he would take the milkshake, too, thanks, then aborting with a wave of his hand, as though in acceptance that Steve would be unreasonable about this.
