"Whoops! Aha, my bad. The lock, it wasn't..." Didn't matter, oh look- they want you to join in, back away. Kitty passed through the bathroom door, unwittingly bumping into someone hanging out with a cluster of others, possibly waiting for the next stall to open. They turned around questioningly as she bounced back like a pinball, alternating glances between Kitty and the stall behind her, to which she announced, "They're looking for a third person if you wanna get in on that party," with a lopsided grin and thumb pointed over her shoulder, laughing just long enough for them to think she was either drunk or just a complete weirdo before she cleared her throat, "Cool!" and got out of there. Kitty hadn't even had anything to drink yet.
She ambled from room to room, looking around, hoping she'd spot an even remotely familiar face. Kitty thought she saw Wicked, but if it was her, the girl was gone just like that, leaving Kitty to squint over her shoulder, wondering while she stopped at the bar. Maybe one or two would be good for the night, Kitty didn't want to get too crazy, and she wanted to be able to wish Tony a happy birthday in the least embarrassing way possible when she saw him. "Thanks!" she told the bartender before diving back into the crowd with her drink, bobbing her head to the beat that greeted her as she entered another room.
