"Uh..." was the most Tony could say, distracted as he was trying to map the environment and get ahead of any more surprises. He did manage to raise a hand to Steve's waist, but that was all the acknowledgement he had for the teasing or the kiss until he had dragged his gaze back to Steve and wondered, "Did you cook?" In his defense, he had earned the right to be skeptical after living with almost every permutation of Avengers, of which a measly percentage could boil water when they even had the moment to give it a try. Sure, Tony had given Steve a bakery, but Tony owned a lot of things he didn't really understand. They weren't a cook-for-each-other pair. They were hardly a sit-and-eat-with-each-other pair. He didn't need Steve to answer, though, taking a fistful of his shirt instead to lead him toward the stove so that Tony had some back up in case it burst into flames.
